the application process
The most successful college applicants make this a four-year process. After all, you will submit a profile that describes your entire high school progression! After our initial interview meeting, we’ll establish an organized, attainable schedule for you, beginning with high school course selections, building a network of support and suggesting ways for students to build their resumes with extracurriculars that reflect their interests. While including college visits, scheduling and preparing for standardized testing and completing applications. We’ll oversee essay writing and supplemental information as well. Because of our individualized attention to each student, we can guarantee your final application will reflect your special interests, accomplishments, experiences and goals.
Over the course of our time together, Ann Rossbach Consulting will help you first:
how we can help
College admissions can be an overwhelming process, especially while navigating your junior and senior years. At Ann Rossbach Consulting, we simplify and personalize things by educating students and their families on how to effectively make the most of the high school experience. Advantages exist to starting early, and regardless of when you begin with us our comprehensive fee is always the same.
By helping students make the best academic and extracurricular choices, Ann Rossbach Consulting will help each student discover his potential and individual interests. We’ll identify your personal learning style, clarify academic and career aspirations and recognize your motivations for attending college. While online college searches can be helpful, you’ll find more value in our knowledge from the time we have personally spent visiting colleges, meeting with admissions staff and getting to know the programs that may interest you.
In some cases, students may be better suited to attend a post-graduate year of high school or to defer college acceptance and take a gap year. We’re prepared to offer advice, guidance and action plans for these scenarios as well.
"I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your assistance in the application process and for believing in me."
We are more than a metrics-based search engine when it comes to creating a student’s college list! The ability to recommend colleges is rooted in not only a familiarity with current trends, but also specific knowledge about campus’ cultures and programs. I spend a minimum of 15% of the year visiting campuses, speaking with admissions representatives, and advancing my understanding of admissions criteria and priorities. Consequently, I am comfortable creating a list of colleges that suit individual students. In the last six months of 2018, I visited 25 campuses – THIS is what helps to keep me current and develop an individualized application strategy for each student while underscoring the value of an independent educational consultant.
We've worked with all types of students that have been accepted to universities and colleges from all over the United States and Europe.
